LA ACTIVIDAD FÍSICA EN LA PROMOCIÓN DE SALUD ANTE LOS DESAFÍOS DEL SIGLO XXI
Estimado colega:
En nombre del comité organizador me complace invitarlo al PRIMER SIMPOSIO INTERNACIONAL DE ACTIVIDAD FÍSICA, SALUD Y CALIDAD DE VIDA que se celebrará durante los días 20, 21 y 22 de Noviembre de 2013 en el Centro de Convenciones de Cojimar, La Habana, Cuba.
Extendemos nuestra cordial invitación a médicos, psicólogos, deportólogos, rehabilitadores, entrenadores y profesionales relacionados con actividades afines a la calidad de vida a compartir las diferentes sesiones de esta reunión con el objetivo de promover al más alto nivel de discusión científica, el intercambio de experiencias sobre la medicina del deporte y la calidad de vida.
La Habana, con su historia y tradicional hospitalidad acogerá con gusto a todos los participantes a fin de desarrollar una amplia actividad científica y propiciar lazos de amistad y solidaridad.

Envío de resúmenes y trabajos
Los autores de los temas libres y carteles deberán enviar los resúmenes al Comité Científico antes del Primero de Octubre de 2013 a la dirección electrónica: imdcuba@infomed.sld.cu Esta dirección electrónica esta protegida contra spambots. Es necesario activar Javascript para visualizarla
El Comité Científico analizará los resúmenes presentados y notificará al autor sobre su aprobación. De ser aceptado para su inclusión en el Programa Científico, le solicitará el envío del trabajo en un máximo de 10 cuartillas antes de 30 de Octubre de 2013.
En el caso de las conferencias, talleres y mesas redondas, los expositores deberán enviar un resumen con no más de 250 palabras antes del 15 de Octubre de 2013 al Comité Científico.
NORMAS PARA LA PRESENTACIÓN DE LOS TRABAJOS
Los trabajos deberán estar estructurados de la siguiente manera: resumen, introducción, objetivos, materiales y métodos, resultados, conclusiones y referencias bibliográficas.
Para el texto se utilizará MS Word o formato PDF de Adobe Acrobat y se escribirá en hojas tipo carta (8½ x 11), a un espacio entre líneas, en fuente Times New Roman (12 puntos) con las especificaciones siguientes:
Título centrado, en mayúscula y negrita, con no más de 15 palabras.
Los nombres de los autores se escribirán a tres espacios del título. Se pondrá solamente las iniciales del nombre, seguidas de los apellidos, y entre ellos estarán separados por comas, subrayándose el nombre y apellidos de quien hará la presentación.
A continuación, se identificará la (s) institución (es) de procedencia de la forma siguiente: nombre de la institución, dirección postal, ciudad y país. A continuación, deberá agregarse la dirección electrónica.
Las imágenes, tablas y/o gráficos deberán formar parte también del documento de Word o PDF. El documento no excederá de un mbyte de tamaño. En caso de que sea mayor de 500 kbytes, debe ser compactado en formato multivolumen con tamaño máximo de 500 kbytes.
PRESENTACIÓN EN CARTELES O POSTERS
Se presentarán en formato de 82 cm (ancho horizontal) y 110 cm (largo vertical). En el horario asignado para la discusión, el autor principal deberá permanecer junto a su trabajo para responder preguntas, por lo que tendrá que estar inscrito en el congreso. CUOTAS DE INSCRIPCIÓN
El pago de la cuota de inscripción al Congreso se hará en efectivo directamente en el Centro de Convenciones de Cojímar en el momento de la acreditación.
Delegados cubanos: 150 CUP
Delegados extranjeros: 100.00 CUC
Acompañantes: 50.00 CUC
Estudiantes*: 25.00 CUC
*Solo estudiantes de pregrado debidamente acreditados por su centro de estudios o con una identificación.
La cuota de inscripción incluye: módulo de acreditación, participación en las actividades científicas y sociales del evento, documentación y certificados de participación y/o presentación de trabajos.
Los acompañantes tendrán derecho a su credencial y a participación actividades oficiales y sociales del evento.
Materiales a fin con la especialidad de Medicina y Psicología del Deporte podrán ser adquiridos por un precio adicional en el momento de la acreditación.
Formas de Pago
La cuota de inscripción, así como otros pagos a realizar en Cuba, se abonarán en Pesos Cubanos Convertibles (CUC), moneda de circulación oficial del país (el pago del evento será en efectivo en el momento de la acreditación). Esta se puede obtener a su arribo a Cuba en el propio aeropuerto, sucursales bancarias, casas de cambio (CADECA) o en las instalaciones hoteleras, a la tasa de cambio prevaleciente ese día.
EXPOSICIÓN CIENTÍFICO-COMERCIAL
Paralelamente al evento se desarrollará una Exposición Científico-Comercial en el Lobby Principal del Centro de Convenciones de Cojímar, en la cual las empresas, laboratorios y firmas especializadas, tanto nacionales como extranjeras, dispondrán de una ocasión excepcional para exponer y comercializar sus equipos, tecnologías, medicamentos, literatura y otros materiales afines a la temática del evento.

The Scientific Committee will examine the abstract and will confirm to the author on its approval. In case of abstract acceptance by the Scientific Committee, author will be request the shipment of work in a maximal of 10 sheets of letter paper before October 30, 2013.
In the event of lectures, workshops and round tables, the expositors will have to send a summary with no more than 250 words before the October 15, 2013 to the Scientific Committee.
INSTRUCTION FOR AUTHORS
Full papers must have the following structure: abstract, introduction, objectives, materials and methods, results, conclusions and bibliographical references.
The text must be written using MS Word or PDF Adobe Acrobat and 8½ x 11sheets; single space between lines and Times New Roman 12-points font. Papers must meet the following specifications:
Centered title; written in bold, capital letters, containing no more than 15 words.
Authors’ names must be written three spaces after the title. You must only present the initials of the names followed by the surnames, and separated by commas. The speaker’s name and surname must be underlined.
Afterwards, the institution(s) of origin will be identified as follows: name of the institution, postal address, city and country. The e-mail address must be added at the end.
Images, charts and/or graphics are also included in the Word or PDF document. It must not exceed 1 MB. Should it be larger than 500 Kbytes, the document must be compressed in a multivolume format, with no more than 500 Kbytes for each volume.
PRESENTATION OF POSTERS
Posters will be presented in a formate of 82 cm (Wide, horizontal) and 110 cm (hight, vertical). During the scheduled time asigned for the presentation, the principal author will have to stay next to his work to answer questions.
REGISTRATION FEES
The payment of the registration fee to Simposium will be in cash directly at the Cojimar¨s Center of Conventions, in Havana upon the accreditation.

foreigners Delegated: 100,00 CUC
Companions: 50,00 CUC
Students *: 25,00 CUC
*Only students of pre-grade properly credited by his center of studies or with an identification.
The registration fee includes: Module of accreditation, participation in scientific and social activities of the event, documentation and certificates of participation and or presentation of works.
The companions will have a right to his credential and to participation official and social activities of the event.
The materials to end with Medicina’s and Psicología’s specialty of Sports will be able to be acquired by an additional price upon the accreditation.
FORMS OF PAYMENT
The registration fee, as well as another payments to realize in Cuba, they will subscribe in Pesos Cubanos Convertibles ( CUC ), coin of official circulation of the country ( the payment of the event will be cash in the moment of the accreditation ). This can obtain his arrival to Cuba at the very airport, branch banking, change houses itself ( CADECA ) or in hotel facilities, to prevailing exchange day rate.
